The Salmontrutta gilthead sea bream and European sea-bass farming is located in the beautiful gulf of Valona in the south of the Adriatic Sea, an area characterized by a good water quality, transparency and temperature, which are perfect for the gilthead sea bream and European bass farming and processing.
This gulf is known because it has no adjacent industrial settlements, and/or polluted rivers basins, but it has very shallow seabeds (over 50 m) which allow weak currents, and this fosters a continual water change with transparent and oxygen-rich water.
Let us not forget that fish quality largely depends on the environmental conditions where fish is farmed.
